The American Bicycling Education Association (ABEA) has launched a new integration for its TeenEbikeTraining.com curriculum on the Canvas Learning Management System. This integration allows schools to deliver e-bike safety training directly to students, at a time when more districts are requiring safety permits to address the demands of operating heavier, faster e-bikes.
What Happened
The American Bicycling Education Association (ABEA) says its national e-bike training curriculum is now fully compatible with the Canvas LMS. School districts can import lessons directly into online classrooms. Teachers can use the platform to track student progress, grade assessments, and manage enrollment.
Although these integrations simplify training delivery, school administrators must still protect student data privacy when using third-party EdTech tools, as we previously reported. Bulk licensing of the software also includes physical classroom tools and visual aids, so instructors can run hybrid or in-person training sessions.
The Bigger Picture
