Corrections and disputes
We correct factual errors and review evidence-based disputes about our app overviews and ratings. Payment never changes ratings.
AI-drafted app overviews are not Learning Standard evaluations. Our analysis and a formal rating are identified separately.
How to request a correction
Email evaluations@thelearningstandard.org with the app page URL, the exact statement or rating you dispute, the proposed correction and supporting evidence.
Useful evidence includes dated product documentation, pricing pages, policy documents, reproducible product observations and independent research. Include the source URL and when you checked it. Explain which product version, plan or country the evidence covers.
Please do not send student records, passwords or other sensitive personal information. A vendor assertion alone does not establish that a learning outcome has been demonstrated.
Review and timing
Review time depends on the evidence and complexity of the case. We may need additional information to assess a request.
We compare the disputed statement with the supplied sources and our evaluation criteria. We may correct the text, qualify it, request more evidence or retain it with an explanation. A factual correction does not automatically change a formal rating.
Published corrections explain what changed and why. Private correspondence and personal information are not published in this log. If you disagree with the outcome, reply with new evidence or identify a specific error in the review.
