About
Accelerate reading achievement with Science of Reading Decodable Libraries. Aligned to your core phonics program, our libraries provide structured practice of the phonics skills students are learning in class through engaging stories and colorful illustrations. Just Right Reader’s decodable texts contain QR codes linked to instructional videos, making the decodable texts and phonics skills lessons more accessible to students, families, and teachers. This digital component reinforces phonics skills with a 2-minute video lesson in either English or Spanish and dubbed in 14 additional languages. Each video introduces the book, previews the targeted skill, models the skill, and shows examples directly from the text, enabling readers to apply the phonics skill authentically to each book. This digital component sets Just Right Reader’s decodable texts apart from others, is central to the successful use of the decodable texts in classrooms, and helps caregivers extend instruction in the home. The Take-Everywhere Literacy Packs earned an ESSA Tier 3 badge from LXD for promising results, and the inclusion of QR codes has also led to recognition from the International Certification of Evidence in Education (silver efficacy for Take-Everywhere Literacy Packs) and Digital Promise (Research-Based Design: ESSA Tier 4).
